![]() In any case the ND has to be at the end of the chain since it doesn’t have a THRU ![]() OT Out > DN In > DN Thru > Microcosm In > Microcosm Thru > Nord Drum 3p. So far what i gathered from my experiments, as i changed a bit the MIDI chain: Might be the threshold on the ND as well, i dunno.Īlso i think it is strange to have sound of a sequence on the OT being played on the DN although the track is muted. Maybe that would be why some ghost notes occur although it happens also when sequencers are stopped. Recording I have to have Local off on my ND3 so that it doesn’t echo back to itself,įor now i would like to make use of the pads as well (since you can’t buy the ND without pads, let’s use them ) Let me know if I can help because I want everyone to understand how to do this! I’m sure people who are MIDI literate understand the manuals, but to me there were major gaps in the explanations. Holy shit I haven’t found this info anywhere. ![]() Now I’m at the stage where I am assigning CC values! Recording I have to have Local off on my ND3 so that it doesn’t echo back to itself, but once I recorded a sequence, I could go back during playback and turn it back on to scroll through the different kits. ![]() When I went back and instead assigned each of the MIDI trigs (A-F) to Midi channel 10, which is the ND3’s Global Channel, all the notes were in key and worked. Everything sounded pitched up like a half step or more. I then went to the TRG page and assigned the notes (60, 62, 64…)to correspond to each of the MIDI trigs (A-F in this case) that I just assigned channels to. So, in the Digitakt SRC page I assigned trig MIDI A to Midi channel 1, MIDI B to channel 2 and so forth. I don’t know how the Octatrack is set up, but what I was doing on the Digitakt was assigning each MIDI trig button (they are named MIDI A, MIDI B etc) from 1-6 to correspond with the ND3 drum pad channels. ![]()
